NIGHT WATCH (NIGHT PATROL / NIGHTWATCH) - 2004
NIGHT PATROL is a Russian fantasy thriller about a magician who works as a kind of policeman rescuing lost souls from evil powers. The powers of light work in Moscow under a cover of the firm named Gorsvet, or City Light, that is run by a good-natured archangel with the face of a Soviet-era Communist Party activist. The magician trying to protect a boy from vampires finds out that the boy is his son. Alas, evil powers turn out to be more successful in general. Directed by Timur Bekmambetov.

Sequel to Russia's NIGHT WATCH. This time the World happens to be on the threshold of war between the Dark and Light Powers... The Inquisitor steps into the limelight. It means that stakes are very high now and all the participants are only pawns in the big game.
Anton Gorodetsky, the operative of Night patrol, nightly battling witches and vampires in the streets of Moscow, becomes such a pawn in intrigue that has very thin plot. But neither the master manipulator, nor the victim can imagine what the outcome of this chain of unfortunate events will follow...
